Almighty and ever living God
as we gather around this table
to share the joy of this Thanksgiving meal,
we acknowledge that you are the God
and Father of us all.
 

With gratitude in our hearts,
we offer you praise and thanks
for the health of our body and mind,
for the warmth and shelter of our home,
for the food that nourishes and sustains us,
for the love of our families and friends,
and for the joy and company we share at this Thanksgiving table.
we especially offer you praise and thanks
for the gifts of your love and life
which you so generously give to us, your children.
 

We remember all who are not with us
and those who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith.
As we break and share this Thanksgiving meal
we ask you to bless this food,
let us recall your never ending care and providence,
and remind us of the love and unity that should be ours as your people.
 

We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord and Bread of Life,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
and God for ever and ever
