Pastor Fr. Kevin Carter
Welcome to St. Margaret of Cortona’s website. I am Fr. Kevin Carter, the pastor of St. Margaret since 2013.
A couple of months before I began my pastorate the parish and the communities it serves, Little Ferry and Moonachie, were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. 2013 was a year of rebuilding for the parish as well as for the communities of Little Ferry and Moonachie. On August 4, 2013, our church was dedicated and reopened. I often have classified that day as perhaps the greatest day of my priesthood.
St. Margaret’s is a very active parish. We strive to celebrate and recognize the wondrous reality that our God has given us all that we have, especially the gift of life. We likewise strive to respond to God’s grace by becoming stewards, freely and faithfully giving of our time, talent, and treasure. Whether you are a parishioner looking for information or an internet visitor just stopping by for a look, I hope your visit is fruitful and helps you on your journey of faith to the Lord.
May God bless you today and always.
